"I’ve always had trouble sticking to any workout program or “diet”, and have always had a weight issue. I’ve done Jenny Craig, beach body, Kayla’s Sweat workouts, and just counting calories. Nothing has ever stuck and the weight always came back. I finally decided to try Muscles by Madz after my SIL recommended her MONTHS prior to doing it. My brothers wedding was 12 weeks away and I was Maid of Honor so I needed to be happy in the dress standing next to the bride and groom. Madison made it so easy! A personalized workout program that constantly changed so it never got boring, and the meal plan blew my mind! I knew nothing of how to count MACROS and (on my own) I was eating 1200 calories a day and doing cardio and seeing no progress. I was miserable. Her program has me eating 1700 calories a day and no to little cardio and the weight/inches jumped off my body. I absolutely love that it’s not a “diet”.  It’s real food everyday and a lot of it so I have no need to binge eat anymore cus I’m always full. Plus her recipes that come with are de-lish! But the thing that really kept me on tract was knowing she was looking everyday at what I was eating and making sure I worked out. The weekly calls held me accountable and taught me so much! I had the opportunity to ask anything, like a private tutor. I now understand that it does matter what kind of calories you put in your body and how to avoid “empty” calories. Lauren, and her analytical mind, were SO fun to work with! She did an incredible job “breaking down the numbers” to decipher exactly where she needed to be with her intake/balance of foods at each snack and every meal. Not only did she know where she NEEDED to be, but she planned ahead to ensure that she would actually BE there. Lauren did a fabulous job balancing her workout regimen + new dietary habits with her work schedule + mom life. Her diligent planning skills certainly contributed to this success!

I so enjoyed the weekly calls Lauren and I shared because a) she asked very insightful questions, proving the detail with which she was analyzing her body’s needs b) she always had various measures of positive progress to share (increased energy levels, looser fit of clothing, feeling stronger, etc.) and c) she expressed interest in learning the how and why behind her workouts. Such questions contributed to meaningful growth in Lauren’s knowledge and understanding of fitness and nutrition over the course of our 8 weeks together. To see it all come together on the wedding day of her brother + sister-in-law, a wedding which she and I were both in, was something I believe to have been rewarding for both of us! 😊
