"I began working with Madison in March 2019. My goal was to improve my nutritional habits.

Madison shared a great deal of information. It's not only important to know what to eat, but also when to eat it. One of my problems was that looking at a big plate of food takes away my appetite. Eating smaller meals 5 times a day enabled me to get all the nutrition I needed in each day. I also learned how to fuel for workouts and post workouts.

To be quite frank, Cathy made me feel like I was getting SHOWN UP! Y’all- Cathy is 66, almost 67, years old and is SO GOOD at maintaining healthful dietary habits day in and day out! Her vegetable intake is second-to-none, not to mention many of her vegetables are picked fresh from her home garden. She is very consistent in consuming protein approximately every three hours, and she couples this protein intake with a balanced physical activity regimen to help maintain muscle mass (we all battle sarcopenia as we ago) and preserve bone health. Cathy is also very in-tune with her body. Her ability to pay close attention to how she tolerates various foods allowed us to discover which dairy foods Cathy is vs. is not able to tolerate, and in what amounts. Being able to keep some dairy in her diet has made all the difference with food variety + nutritional quality! Cathy asks super questions, which allowed us to develop a mutual understanding of how to best fuel her body, meet her energy needs, and maintain an appropriate energy level. She consistently does a great job ordering when dining out, and she packs nourishing snacks when on the road or unable to eat at home. Cathy- thank you for the reminder that maintaining a healthful diet + consistent exercise regimen is always important, at all ages and against all obstacles. You are a role model to many!
