Keesling Family Flank Steak

Yield: 4, 4-oz servings

Ingredients:

- 1 lb flank steak

- 2 Tbsp olive oil

- 2 tsp lemon juice

- 2 tsp Accent seasoning

- 2 tsp seasoned salt

- ¼ tsp seasoned pepper

- 2 tsp garlic, minced

- 4 tsp parsley, chopped

Directions:

1. Score steak on both sides. Cover well with meat tenderizer. Leave at room temperature for 4 hours.

2. Mix together oil, lemon juice, Accent, seasoned salt, seasoned pepper, garlic, and parsley.

3. Brush ½ of mixture on one side of steak, then broil about 4” from broiler for 5 minutes.

4. Flip steak, brush with other half of mixture, then broil for another 5 minutes. 

*Summer serving tip from the expert: Serve over a bed of Romaine lettuce (or other salad mix of choice). Toss with bleu cheese or feta cheese crumbles, diced tomatoes, sautéed onions and mushrooms. Goal here is a "black & bleu"-type salad!*
